Taking the Dog Out

Yeah, finally, I've drawn more art featuring characters from the show Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman. I love that show, and my favorite Ruffman family member is definitely Glen Ruffman. He's SO cute!

I added my Chowder OC Florentine and Apple Bloom from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic because Glen looks like he needs some serious female attention.

Florentine may think he's a total geek with a lisp problem because of his braces, but she means well in the good friends department, and really thinks Glen should step away from his computer and start hanging out with other kids who are not on the internet.

In this picture:

Ruff is hosting another episode of Fetch and calls his nephew, because the host is actually considering having Glen be in the show along with a few others kids whom Glen has recently met. Florentine and Apple Bloom surprise Glen in his room, trying to encourage him to join the real fun.

But Glen refuses, saying all the fun he needs is in his room and with all his technology. That pisses Florentine off and she drags Glen away from his computer, determined that he participates in the "real world". And Apple Bloom cheers her on for this move.

Because Glen is the nerd, geek, and dork type, Ruff can't help but make a crack that this is the first time Glen's actually hanging out let alone talking to a girl that isn't Grandma Ruffman. He is right.

I had been thinking about Glen falling for some girl who's like the total opposite of him...now I'm thinking NOT FLORENTINE! I mean, he's a dog! And she's a cat!

Then I thought about the various boys whom are on Florentine's love interest list: Jimmy Two Shows, Gunther from Kick Buttowski, Numbuh 4 from Codename: Kids Next Door, and of course Gorgonzola from Chowder...who's a rat.

Yeah, he loves magic fantasy and some sci-fi that I thought it would be cool to add some Star Wars and Star Trek posters in his room, because I have no idea what the inside of his room looks like.

By the way, Ruff is good friends with the MLP FIM characters just to let you know, especially with Rainbow Dash, whom if you can recall from my first ever MLP picture had given him the best flight of his life [link]
