Sad and Gloomy *GROUP PRIZE*

As I told my members in , I would give them their group prize before I left for my trip.

Sometime in late 2015, I decided for a contest revolving around the rejected Inside Out character Gloom. Well, I received a lot of submissions, but when my mom died, I completely forgot my group responsibilities, and even forgot I had a contest going.

I did a last resort and decided that ALL who submitted an entry was a winner. It wasn't until just recently did I start getting back into the groove of things after burying my mom back in January, and thus carefully thought over what would be a great group prize. 

This piece was pretty much me after losing my mom...

However, here's a fun fact: this was also my original idea for that Twist Fate contest I participated in (even though the rules said only 13-17... ) Before I went with my Angry Birds Movie idea cartuneslover16.deviantart.com… my original one was that Sadness, in twisting her fate, became the bad guy of Inside Out, turning all the core memories into pure darkness and making Riley's mind a gloomy paradise based on how SADNESS felt (and sort of got rid of Joy while having Riley completely destroy the relationship with her parents despite coming back to them). Sadness would be responsible for the birth of Gloom, who is not exactly a physical character, but more of the dark atmosphere that she allows over all the lands in Riley's head.
