I only watched it because my dad wanted to. I honestly was sure I wouldn't like it, especially since it's not a Disney-owned live-action movie.
I got to admit, it may not have been much, but with an actor like Samuel Jackson to provide us some humor, I actually didn't sleep through it. I did, however, listen to my iPhone for most of the film, especially during the violent segments (which could possibly put the ones from Deadpool to shame).
Honestly, only liked the Samuel Jackson parts. While the movie has gotten a few of the characters "ethnically incorrect", just hearing Sammy speak like the movie takes place in 2016 was wonderful, especially parts like "We're screwed" and "S***", which I'm pretty sure we're words that didn't exist in Europe during that time.
So 7.2/10 for this film, because of Samuel Jackson.
Given this movie pretty much flopped like Alice Through the Looking Glass and the most recent Disney-owned film BFG, I got one question:
WHY IS THAT NEARLY EVERY LIVE-ACTION FILM THIS SUMMER SUCKS BALLS?
Meanwhile, it's the animated movies that take the world by storm.
No s***.
Good news is that dad wants to watch the Disney-owned live action film "Pete's Dragon". Now I KNOW they're not going to f*** that up.

Other Socials to Find Me
I haven't entirely abandoned Deviantart. After all, this is where it all started. However, my activity is more constant in my other socials like Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Tik Tok, and especially YouTube. Also, I get less spam on those socials than I do here (there are too many NFT bots and Chris Chan wannabes on this site). Want to make it clear that most of my art doesn't get posted here. I'm doing animatics and animations and hope to return to my webcomic FANGIRLS. If you still remember Skunk Fu and my OC Squirrel, well, I can assure you she's "getting some work done too". What's a better way to call characters that are brought into a modern age of animation? Ah, yes, a reboot. Thanks, ya'll.
Who wants to get something FREE from my shop?
So I'm getting close to 300 orders. I've had my shop for more than a year now. It's technically still New Year, I'm going to do something special. Whoever is the 300th order can request ONE ITEM for me to add for FREE. SHOP: https://ko-fi.com/nameabbycallmej/shop

You never know, though.
I'm not really a fan of real-life films (Marvel being an exception), and I'm just waiting for Disney to weed out all their executions of their planned movies so that they know how NOT to f**k up.
