TS: Loving a Nerd

If you've seen the episode, "Goo Goo Gai Pan", you'd remember her as Madame Wu, the adoption agent who gave Selma her baby, Ling. Well, I was quite intrigued with her, not because she's voiced by Lucy Liu, but she's quite a beauty and has a can-do, yet charming attitude. And a nice guy like Frink deserves a woman like that!

Here's my description on how I see her as:

Name: Wen-qi Wu (like Lucy Liu! ) Means 'sparkling like jade'.

Occupation: Adoption agent (WAS )

Status: Single...before she met Frink

Bio: Wen-qi was threatened by a Chinese drug enterpreneur that if she did not agree to marry him, he would threaten to kill her. Scared for her life, she smuggled herself on the next boat to one of America's most special places...Springfield.

There, she was able to find the address of her Japanese cousin, Akira. You know, thw guy who owns a sushi place? Yes, I know, he's Japanese while she's Chinese. He's a cousin TWICE removed, okay? They go to the Simpsons, where she also meets Selma and baby Ling once again. After explaining her story, they agree to hide her until she is no longer looked for in China.

While living the life of an American, the Simpsons show her around Springfield: Moe's Tavern(where the guys begin hitting on her), Luigi's(where Fat Tony and his gang begin hitting on her), and Town Hall(where Mayor Quimby starts hitting on her ) Fianlly, they bring her to Springfield University where she meets Professor Frink, who is not like the other men she had met. In fact, she becomes infatuated with him, as of he, who finds it exciting to finally speak to an ACTUAL female.

It's with a shove from Homer that Frink gets up the nerve to ask her out, and she accepts. They start out at her cousin's restaurant, then it goes on like most dates. After a few dates, Frink finally gets to 'combine the X with the Y chromosome' if you know what I mean!

Feeling much safer, Wen-qi moves from her cousin's place into Frink's house where she now knows she truly wants to live in America.

During one of Springfield's many dinner parties, things go into chaos when the man that threatened to kill crashes the party and demands she marry him. She refuses, braving herself enough to tell him no and that she already found someone worth marrying.

The evil man tries to shoot her...but Frink takes the bullet for her. Chief Wiggum and his buddies are able to fire and the man is down. Frink's alright after being at the hospital overnight.

A few days after the incident, eveything is back to normal for Springfield...except it will soon have a new regular living in the humble town.

Wen-qi Wu has quit her job at the adoption agency in China. She took the state test and is now a legal American citizen. She now works as a reported for Springield

Looks like Kent Brockman's going to have some serious competition!

Frink and Wen-qi soon get married, duh!

In the background are Akira and Frink's father, who has only appeared in Treehouse of Horror XIV, who are very happy for the beautiful couple, and, of course, Homer. Looks like Homer's really surprises a woman like Wen-qi would fall for a guy like Frink!

I actually had a dream last night featuring both Wen-qi and Homer:

Through my eyes, the Simpsons are in China, much like the episode, they are in search of Wen-qi so Selma could get her child. Homer grumbles that he's wasting his time looking someone who looks just like all the other people in China(racist, I know...). Lisa informs him that Wen-qi Wu is said to be 'the most beautiful woman in China'. Homer scoffs at the info...until they finally meet Wen-qi Wu face-to-face. Homer growls like a Tiger as he checks out Wen-qi, getting an elbowing by Marge.

Pretty cool dream, huh? And awesome story, huh?

I love Frink, and I really want a nice lady like Wen-qi Wu to be with him!
