My darling Worry Bear

Okay, so it's the night before my first day back to school, and I decided to post one more picture to conclude my summer vacation. It was a great few months away from college, filled with relaxation, laziness, Universal Studios, and watching some awesome animation (like Planes: Fire and Rescue!).

Over the summer I got to know this one show on Nick Jr. called Julius Jr., and I slowly fell madly in love with it.

And fell head over heels for this cutie known as Worry Bear.

And yes, Julius Jr. was inspired by that Paul Frank franchise thing. When I first saw Julius, I immediately wondered, "Doesn't that look like that monkey logo I see on backpacks?"

To be perfectly honest, I am GLAD Julius got a reboot because after looking at this Paul Frank mini-sode www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKbFvi… It's just...bleh.  

Disney Junior isn't the only channel I watch every day. Nick Jr. (when they're not showing Mike the Knight or the ugly CGI-fied Franklin and Friends) is my kind of channel to watch in bed and simply enjoy watching Peppa Pig, Lalaloopsy, and now Julius Jr. I mean, it's WAY better than PAW Patrol (seriously, that Ryder kid needs to show some REAL emotion because his Mary-Sue confidence makes me want to puke...).


While most girls would tear each other's eyes out for a chance to have a date with whatever One Direction guy is not married (they all look the same to me...), I am swooning over Worry Bear.


He is just SO cute and cuddly, and his little anxiety moments make my heart melt. He reminds me of George Sanderson from Monsters University/Monsters Inc (although, unlike Worry Bear, Georgie doesn't whine when he faces something that seems "nerve-wracking"...), and I just want a doll of that adorable bear and hug him every night in bed! I do it with my George Sanderson doll.

Trust me when I say that Julius Jr. is one of those Nick Jr. shows that won't make you turn away. It may have been made for a younger audience, but, like Disney Junior, it's perfect for all ages.
