MU Merida

And what a Disney princess Merida is! Like a redheaded Mulan!

Just yesterday I purchased a couple of very special drawing pencils(one red and one blue) and decided to try my hand in sketching with just those. This wasn't the first time. When I was 13 I tried it with Crayola and wasn't exactly proud; but our failures are our experience, and to try again, you know you can feel something. And I did feel something. I felt empowerment and even more liberation.

I'd like to thank for making art that was so inspirational to me. She uses a number of artist tools to produce her work, and that includes the pens and pencils I've used for most of my recent art. It's her concept which is what made me fall in love with the idea of just using basic blue and red color pencils; storyboard artists use it, Pixar starts with such before they continue toward the final draft, simplicity is very important.

I thought of making Merida's jacket look like Claire Wheeler's, but from the backside you won't tell it's MU. So I made my own jacket design, the kind of jacket I would want and wear around my university.
