Description

Before you question my interest in MLP FIM after seeing this comic, I need to confess: I'm NOT a brony. ^^;

I'm a FAN, but not a brony. There's actually a difference between the two as how each regards the show. ^^;

To every person who is a dedicated brony...I'm REALLY sorry if this offends you on all levels. ^^;

Every MLP FIM fan has been discussing their excitement about November 10 for the Season 3 premiere, even every group whose posted a journal about it has many of its members unable to contain their excitement, talking about watching it on the Hub channel, YouTube, with other brony buddies.

Well, to be honest, I'm NOT going to watch it. ^^;

I really don't know what to truly think about MLP FIM at this point now that Season 3 is coming near...I mean, it's a great show and I'm glad to have discovered it last year.

But then I have mixed feelings about it, especially after Season 2 finished. Maybe it's because Season 1 was great and there is a major difference between both seasons...I really don't know. :no:

But I do know is that this comic not only pays 'tribute' to the upcoming season premiere, but basically just LETTING OUT my feelings in regards to other degrading of another premiere:

Littlest Pet Shop.

You have NO idea how many people on YouTube are COMPLAINING about how badly the show will turn out, mainly because they're comparing designs from the original. :roll:

Let me tell you this: I did NOT like the original when I was younger, and I still don't. :no:

Honestly, I think Littlest Pet Shop looks like a great show...and I'm going to watch THAT instead of Season 3 MLP. ^^;

Everyone keeps insisting that most of the characters on Littlest Pet Shop take after MLP FIM characters just because they both have the same animators and writers. :roll:

Well, not to me. The LPS characters appear completely original. And I really like their music, especially their theme song. It's so uplifting...and I don't skip over it like I usually do when I watch MLP episodes on YouTube nowadays. ^^;

This comic doesn't only go to Littlest Pet Shop, but to ALL Hub shows. :nod:

People on YouTube call The Hub as the PONY NETWORK.

I call it the NEW NOSTALGIA channel, because it re-lives old memories of the original shows in which inspired the new ones. :)

And I have to confess something else: I didn't order the Hub channel for MLP...I ordered it for the other shows that I REALLY like, such as Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Bitty Adventures and even Pound Puppies, that show to me is the BEST show on the Hub. :iconsweatdropplz:

And I can FEEL the disagreement going on in the atmosphere...^^;

I have to let my feelings in regards to MAJOR MLP fans who ALWAYS compare THEIR show to others on the Hub, or even outside it!

I mean, some videos of other Hub shows I watch like clips from Care Bears: Welcome to Care-A-Lot are unable to escape the harsh comments of dedicated MLP FIM fans on YouTube:

No show is worth watching before MLP...

No show is worth watching after MLP...

Needs more pony...

Where are the ponies?

Screw their rainbows! We got a pegasus who can perform a Sonic Rainboom!

Is this suppose to be the new MLP?

It's stressing to look at, it's nearly infuriating, and the fact that fans throw THESE at LPS is no wonder I always felt uncomfortable when my friends refer to me a 'brony'. :no:

Again, I am NOT a brony. I'm just a FAN. Big difference. Honestly, I do like the show, but I'm not into buying its products, wearing their material, search the latest news about anything MLP related on the internet, or even listening to their music on YouTube (unless I'm in desperate need of something while I'm jogging at full max and need sound to distract me). ^^;

But I do enjoy drawing the characters and I am amazed by the wonderful art I see on this site. We have incredible artists on Deviantart. :aww:

I'm not a brony...but I think I am a Petter. :)

A fan to Littlest Pet Shop, the name suddenly bestowed on me when a nice person asked me if I could join the first-ever LPS group :iconpetters-united:

It's a nice a group, and you guys, even if you're only bronies, should consider checking it out. ;)

I will admit, I was nervous when I started working on this picture, and I wanted to include Ogo from Robot and Monster, something I wanted to submit to the :iconrobot-and-monster: group and show how much Ogo is loved. He has his own group as well :iconall-hail-ogo:.

For those who are Ogo fangirls, I know he must seem completely out of character in this comic (of course, some of you stated how I make ANY cartoon character out of character ^^;), as this is the first time I've drawn him.

But I have that sense that other than being a clingy, obsessed, slightly awkward Mechanical, I always thought of Ogo as some sort of voice of reason. :hmm:

His voicing in this comic are mostly MY voice. ^^;

He's a sweet guy who's very soft, but I can see that he always possesses a serious side, one that is often used in dire or complicated situations. :(

And why I chose Rainbow Dash of all ponies to be the one pony he should interact and speak to about the whole 'ponies rule the world' idea...well, I always thought Rainbow Dash was SO full of herself (no surprise there) and how she often brags about herself, so, of course, she would brag about her own show and its incredible popularity. ^^;

And other than looking forward to LPS on November 10...I'm REALLY looking forward to Sofia the First on Disney Junior this November 18th. ^^;

Disney Junior is like a resurrection of the somewhat old Disney Channel from the year 2000, along with Playhouse Disney. And the fact that it's on, and filled with these AMAZING Disney shows I watch day and night...well, Sofia the First is another thing to add to the list. :aww:

Another Disney princess, guys. I'm so happy about that. :aww:

In conclusion about ALL this...it's just my opinion on the whole 'no show is better than MLP' belief many bronies harbor, especially toward shows on the Hub. I think every show is special, and we have our favorites, and we can be fans or BIG fans. Right now, I just admit I am somewhat a fan of MLP FIM, but I'm not watching Season 3, but I'll probably watch it, maybe after it's over and the fans can await another good season. ;)

I'd like to thank :iconaeon-borealis: for encouraging me to make this piece, as she had become a :iconrobot-and-monster: fan recently after I discussed with her about the show. She even spoke to me about how it's alright to hold some, perhaps, dislike for MLP but still like it all the same and such.

Thank you, :iconaeon-borealis:. :hug:

So here's to Bronies, Petters, and even fans of Robot and Monster...or Mech-fanicals and Or-fanics as my idea of a cute name for those who love RnM. :XD:

November is a great month for all of us in different things, and I hope we all enjoy it the same way. :nod:

I only recently discovered this and I LOVE IT!

Ogo is speaking FACTS.

I’m so glad the show is over nowadays. :)
