"NO, MASTER!" Gir cried as the tears fell from his metallic blue eyes as he launched his entire body unto Zim's lifeless form. He cried and cried, begging his master to come back to life.

Rita's eyes were filled with tears as she placed a shaky hand on the lifeless alien's forehead. It felt cold.

"Zim, no..." She sobbed quietly. "Please, no..."

Rocky was on her knees, her brown eyes flooded with tears as she placed her face in her hands, sobbing for her friend.

Dudley fell to his knees, mumbling words of regret and feeling like a failure as he banged his fists against the floor, calling life unfair. Maria stood between Voltura and Cleo, her eyes sparkling with tears before she gave a silent prayer. Fluttershy, being the most sensitive pony, fell forward on her hooves and sobbed quietly to herself, her pink hair covering her tear-streaking face. Dib just stood there between his sister and Skoodge, feelings of self-hate and remorse imbibed in his body.

Everyone was just so devastated...

Zim was gone.

Brian sighed deeply, tears falling from his eyes as he stood beside his wife as she and Rocky mourned for Zim.

He couldn't believe he was just gone...just like that...he had so much to live for with his new life...with his new family...

With him and Rita.

Brian let out a shrill cry before he gathered the Irken in his arms, sobbing unto his forehead, the tears coursing across his green skin.

He never even got to tell Zim he-

Before Brian knew it, something snatched him from behind, clamping around his collar and pulling him up with a sharp yank. He let out a cry as he saw himself being lifted away from Zim's body and high up into a platform.

Placed down roughly with a thud, he came face-to-face with Darkbooty.

"I was originally going to nab the brown-eyed girl," he said darkly. "But I guess I'll settle for a mutt like you."

Brian, in a course of fury and anguish, growled ferociously at him. "Damn you..." He muttered. "Damn you for making the last minutes of Zim's life a living hell..."

Darkbooty smiled coldly. "Where do you think I came from?" And he took out his weapon, held in front of him.

Brian removed the one thing he had on him. A pen.

But not just any pen. Besides used to write his newest best-sellers, it was also a secret weapon. It expanded in his hands, become a warrior stick with a tip at the end. He held it threateningly in front of Darkbooty.

"And that's where you're heading straight back to," Brian growled.

And they lunged at each other.

The others could only watch in desperation as Brian and Darkbooty fought high above the platform. Frink and Keswick rushed over beside Rita and checked over Zim, hoping against hope that what was too late really wasn't too late.

"Brian, be careful!" Rita cried. First she lost Zim, she couldn't bare to lose the man that loved her for her.

"You and your little family have come here for absolutely nothing!" Darkbooty sneered as he slammed down on Brian's weapon. "Why waste your time defending a bunch of those things that are most likely useful for experimentation?"

Brian slammed back at him. "They're our entire family!" He barked. "So was Zim!"

Darkbooty chuckled as his eyes gazed at him coldly. "The little alien? Tell me, dog...what of high importance is he to you and that old hag of a wife you got there?"

Brian's eyes narrowed at him...then softened a bit at recalling his time with Zim...how they enjoyed their time together...did human activities together...bonding...

He nearly got whacked before holding his weapon up just in time. His eyes bore into Darkbooty's.

"He was like a son to me," he said quietly.

Darkbooty's eyes widened. "A son?" He spat. "That thing?"

"That thing was loved by both me and my wife!" Brian barked as he sent a low kick, faltering Darkbooty's hand with his weapon.

He shoved the weapon straight out of his hands.

"Zim was loved by our whole family!"

And with that said, he used the tip of his pen to swipe at Darkbooty's side. Having done a little training with Splinter in the past, it was an easy attack.

Darkbooty gasped as bits of blood spilled from his side, and he fell to his knees, his hands trying to cover it desperately. He gazed at the angry face of Brian.

"I'm sure those in Hell love you, too!" Brian spat.

And he kicked at Darkbooty's head. The old man stumbled, and fell off the platform...falling into some nearby crates with a sickening crash.

The battle was finally over.

But in the end...they still lost.

Brian gazed sadly over to where his wife and Rocky were. He watched as Frink checked over Zim's antennas while Keswick checked his pulse. The others gathered around the lifeless body, mourning.

Brian sighed to himself. Zim would never hear those words he had wanted to say to him...to know that he and his wife loved him very much like their own...that Gir was like the pet meant for a pet like Brian...that they were like a family of their own, no matter who was human or not.

Now Zim was dead...

"Oh, Zim..." Brian sighed sadly, resting his head against the cold metal bar of the platform.

"Hold on, everyone!"

Brian's eyes widened before gazing down and watched as Keswick checked Zim's pulse again.

The animal of a mysterious species gasped. "I feel a p-p-pulse!"

The others gasped. Rita's eyes widened before she looked up at her husband then down at Zim, whom Gir clung to.

Rocky held her breath...her brown eyes forming more tears. Dib watched closely, his heart racing.

For a while, nothing happened. Zim just lay there, his entire body limp.

Then one of his antennas began to twitch.

"He's alive!" Rita cried as she placed a hand under his head. "He's moving!"

Brian's mouth fell open as he watched his wife help the alien's head unto her lap. The others watched in anticipation...

Ever so weakly, Zim opened his eyes, gazing into space. The first face he saw was Rocky's whom bent over him with hopeful desperation.

"R-Rocky?" Zim said hoarsely.

Rocky gave a small smile, her brown eyes tearing up. "Zim..."

Zim slowly tilted his head forward, seeing Gir atop his chest, gazing at him with astonishment.

"M-master?" Gir stammered.

And Zim gave a weak smile. "Gir..."

Before the little robot knew it, Zim reached over and hugged him close to him.

Everyone cheered as Rita embraced them both, more tears falling from her face. Rocky stood there, wiping her eyes.

"Man, Zim!" Dib exclaimed as he walked over to the Irken. "We were all so scared!"

And Rocky finally noticed Dib was among them.

Having not paid much attention to the background, she suddenly realized that Dib had been standing behind most of the taller people, like Jimmy or Fanboy.

And here he was standing beside Zim.

Rocky's sparkling brown eyes suddenly flared with anger as she gazed at Dib, her heart filled with hate and revenge.

Dib looked up and caught her gaze. He gulped.

"Oh, uh, Rocky, I-"

Before he knew it, Rocky grabbed him by the collar and slammed him, hard, against a wall. The others gasped as they watched Rocky glare menacingly at Dib.

"Hey, where's my sai?" Raph exclaimed, checking that one of his pockets was empty.

"Raph..." Eva said quietly, her eyes wide as she pointed.

Raph looked over and his eyes widened in horror.

Rocky had his sai.

And it was positioned under Dib's neck.

Lou's eyes widened at the sight of his youngest adopted daughter in such a frightening situation. "Rocky, no!" He exclaimed frantically. "This isn't you!"

Rocky ignored him as her eyes bore into Dib's, the sai held firmly in her hand as it shone under Dib's chin.

"YOU TRAITOR!" She shouted as she slammed Dib once more against the wall. "You did this! You hurt our family! Zim almost died because of you!"

Dib was unable to speak. He sweated as the cool edge of the sai pressed against his skin.

Zim, less weak, gazed at Rocky in horror. "Rocky..." He said hoarsely. "No..."

"He didn't mean for this to happen!" Frida exclaimed, trying to knock some sense into Rocky.

"Oh, he didn't mean for this to happen?" Rocky snapped, not tearing her eyes away from Dib. "What if he 'doesn't mean for this to happen' again? What if?"

"Rocky, don't do it!" Lenny exclaimed desperately.

Rocky ignored him as well. She bared her teeth at Dib. "You betrayed our family..." She hissed. "You destroyed my trust in you...now you're going to pay for what you've done..."

She pressed the sai more firmly against his neck.

"You're going to hell, bastard..." Rocky hissed.

"Okay, who's been cursing around my daughter?" Cleo demanded, looking at the other adults.

Most eyes turned to Moe.

"Oh, sure," he said sarcastically, "blame the bartender."

Then, surprisingly, Gaz stepped in. "Don't kill him..." She said with as much 'concern' in her voice.

Rocky scoffed. "Why defend him? You're going to hell as well anyway..."

"Ouch," Bart cringed.

"Rocky, please!" Twilight begged. "We can work this out!"

"Nothing will work out..." Rocky said. She glared at Dib. "Not as long as he still lives..."

"What is she again?" Abjay exclaimed as she turned to Django. "Hysteric or psychotic?"

"Psychotic!" Django exclaimed.

Dib gulped, his eyes shifting from the sai to Rocky.

And right when Rocky was about to slit his throat-

BAM!

Rocky stood there motionless...

Then the sai, as well as Dib, fell from her firm hands. She sank to the floor and her entire body fell forward with a soft thump.

She was unconscious.

All eyes turned to Numbuh 13, whom had snuck up behind Rocky while she was focused on Dib.

In his trembling hands was the pot he always wore on his head.

He couldn't believe he had just knocked out Rocky! His leader, his first ever friend...his crush!

"Man..." Dib said, panting. He turned to Numbuh 13. "Thanks, Lucky. you have no idea how-"

BAM!

And Dib joined Rocky as well, his limp body next to hers.

"That's for making me hit Rocky!" Numbuh 13 exclaimed frantically, a tear falling from his face.

Mrs. Pesky and Cleo rushed over to the two limp bodies.

"Okay, we got to get out of here before anymore of those...Swollen...Eyeball... guys show up," Dave said.

CRASH!

All eyes turned to see one of their trucks crash through the doorway. One of the windows slid down and out popped Alvin's head.

"What did we miss?" He squeaked as Apple Bloom's head popped out as well.

The back door opened and out stumbled a terrified Lunessa, with Marilyn, Venus, and Bella in her arms. Behind her came out Pubert.

"Mommy!" Pubert exclaimed as he saw Mrs. Pesky.

"My babies!" Mrs. Pesky exclaimed before she rushed over to both Bella and Pubert. "Oh, you're okay!"

Apple Bloom gasped as she and the Cutie Mark Crusaders saw Rocky and Dib's bodies on the floor. "What happened?"

"We'll explain later," Dave said. "Right now! Let's get out of here!"

After the group had gotten out of the factory, Gaz directed them to her and Dib's house; thankfully, their dad was still gone.

Everyone was gathered in the living room, getting a well-deserved break from all the things that had occurred tonight. Rita, with Zim in her arms, and Brian followed Frink and Keswick as they went upstairs towards one of the guest rooms.

"Ah, this will do," Frink said as he opened a door and they all walked in. He turned to Rita.

"What exactly are you going to do?" Brian asked uneasily before gazing over at Zim, whom watched the two scientists curiously.

"We're just going to give Zim a good c-c-check-up," Keswick explained while placing some devices on the bed. "Don't worry, it won't take too long."

Rita placed Zim on the bed, then she stroked his antennas before kissing his forehead.

Zim smiled nervously, his antennas twitching.

"Now, just lie back, little man," Frink instructed before placing a hand on his chest and gently pushing Zim unto the mattress.

"We'll need room here," Keswick said before ushering Rita and Brian out of the room.

"Hey, was is true?" Zim spoke out.

Brian turned from the doorway. "What was true?"

Zim played with his fingers. "That you...thought I was like your son?"

Brian's eyes widened. He turned to Rita, whom just smiled and nodded at him. Brian smiled back before turning back to Zim.

"I meant every word," he said sincerely.

Zim felt his organs funtion quickly. "That's...that's what brought me back..."

Brian's heart raced.

It was him who had brought back Zim.

"Thanks," Zim said quietly.

"You're welcome..." Brian said quietly.

"We love you," Rita said before they slowly exited out the door.

Zim just smiled as Frink attached a suction cup to his forehead. "Zim loves you, too..."

Dib slowly woke up and rubbed his head. He opened his eyes and realized he was in his room, in his bed.

"Oh, good, you're okay!"

He turned to see that both Mrs. Pesky and Master Splinter were seated across from him.

"I was afraid you were going to go into a coma or something," Mrs. Pesky said.

"Uh, thanks, Mrs. Pesky," Dib blushed as he rubbed his head. Lucky hit him pretty hard with that pot.

"Master Lucky apologizes for his actions," Splinter said, "as well as what he had done to Miss Rochelle."

Dib's eyes widened. "Rocky! How is she?"

"Why not speak to her yourself?" Splinter smiled before both he and Mrs. Pesky walked over to the door. He opened the door and poked his head outside. "You can see him now."

"Thank you, Splinter," said a too familiar voice.

"Dudes, no!" The other voice sounded like Frida's. "What if she tries to kill him again?"

Dib gulped. He could still remember the feeling of that cold blade against his neck.

"She will not, I assure you," Mrs. Pesky said.

And they exited out...and Rocky came in.

Dib gripped his blanket, expecting her to pull out a weapon and blow up his head. But instead, she just stood there...a small nervous smile on her face.

"How you doing?" She asked quietly.

Dib blinked. "Uh, pretty good, I guess..." He looked at her nervously. "You?"

"I believe I'm more sane now," she chuckled nervously.

"Good to hear..." He said quietly.

Finally, she gazed at him. Her brown showed neither hatred of revenge as it was revealed earlier tonight.

Instead they showed sadness.

Forgiveness.

"Dib..." Rocky began quietly. " Frida, Splinter, and Mrs. Pesky explained everything to us...to me..." And she sat at the edge of the bed.

"Oh..." Dib said. "They told you, huh?"

"Yes, they did..." She said quietly. She looked at him regretfully. "Dib, I'm so sorry about earlier...if I would have known...and to think I was going to kill you on the spot...I..."

"I don't blame you," he told her. "I did kind of deserved it..."

"No you didn't," she insisted. "You were just trying to protect our family. And I wanted to cut your throat because of some mistake..." She closed her eyes and sighed. "Back there...back in the factory...I lost myself...telling you all those hurtful things...that was not me, not me at all..."

Dib reached over and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry about it..." And he rubbed his head.

Rocky opened her eyes and gave him a small smile. "How's your head?"

"Okay now," he said. "Did Lucky tell you...?"

"He kept apologizing on and on, and he wouldn't stop crying," Rocky sighed sadly. "I kept telling him it was okay."

"He'll be fine," Dib said, "don't worry."

Suddenly, the door flew open. And Frida jumped in.

"HI-YA!" Frida shouted, striking a fighting pose.

Rocky and Dib looked at her in confusion.

"Sorry," Frida apologized. "I thought Rocky was going to attack you..."

The group was still in the living room, making themselves at home, discussing the night's events as well as congratulating each other for their part in the battle.

Dudley gazed over at Velma, whom was watching everything intently. He gulped before clearing his throat.

"Sorry, I dragged you in like that..." He apologized quietly.

Velma turned to him. She smiled and shook his head. "You needed to do what you had to do, Dudley," she said softly. "I would have done the same thing, too, if the people I love were in danger...or near death." She recalled what had happened to the Zim child earlier, and her heart had been racing.

Dudley chuckled nervously. "Well...all in all..."

"Just tell her to keep her lips shut about this!" Heloise snapped at him.

"See, it's that attitude that's not going to win you any friends," he snapped back. He sighed deeply before turning to Velma. "Vel, look..." He began softly. "I know we've only known each other for like one day and all..." He averted his eyes. "I just really hope that you can keep this a secret. Not a lot of people know of the Turtles, the Peskies, Zim..." He sighed again. "Look, what I'm trying to say is..."

Velma smiled. "Dudley...cross my heart and hope to die, I would never blurt this to anyone. Even my own gang."

Dudley's eyes widened before looking at her. "R-really?"

"Dudley..." Velma chuckled. "This is all amazing! All these people are amazing! Who am I to hurt them?" She smiled at him. "Who am I to hurt a family?"

Dudley nearly teared up. "Oh, Velma Dinkley!" He exclaimed before he reached over and pulled her into a hug. "You are the most awesomest sweater-wearing chick I've ever met!" And he balled and laughed at the same time.

"Yeah, welcome to the family..." Heloise rolled her eyes. She shifted her gaze over to Kitty.

Why did that older human cat not look pleased?

All eyes turned when Frink and Keswick came downstairs with Zim beside them.

"He's okay!" Frink announced, much to everyone's relief.

"Oh, thank goodness!" Rita exclaimed before she rushed over and embraced the alien. And she kissed his forehead.

"Can I hug him now?" Cornelius asked his father eagerly.

Mel chuckled before nodding. "Finish the mission, my boy."

And he, the chipmunks, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders rushed over and embraced Zim.

"We missed you, Zim!" Apple Bloom exclaimed, nuzzling her head unto Zim's side.

"Yes, yes..." Zim chuckled, nearly toppled down by their affection. "Zim has missed you as well..."

"I GOT A HUG IN ME!" Gir exclaimed before he launched himself at Zim's head and hugged it. "I'm so glad you're okay, master."

Grandpapi emerged from the kitchen, a huge sandwich filled with ham and beef in one hand and a small bowl of soup in the other. He smiled as he saw Zim.

"Ah, good to see you're well, mijo," he said before approaching. "Grandpapi has made you something to eat." And he offered the soup.

Zim's tongue wagged hungrily. "Thanks!"

And he grabbed the sandwich and ate it like a wild animal.

"He's not burning up!" Dib exclaimed, he and Rocky sat at the couch.

"He's actually eating the meat!" Rocky exclaimed.

"What did you do?" Brian asked in amazement before turning to both Frink and Keswick.

"Well, while we were checking over Zim," Frink explained. "I recalled you requesting about Zim's incompatibility of meat. So putting with the zap zap and the hey hey, Zim can now eat meat like a normal human child."

Zim licked his fingers, having finished the sandwich so quickly. "Got anymore?"

Splinter, having awoken from his meditation, stood up from the floor and walked over to Dib.

"Master Dib," he began.

"Yes, Master Splinter," Dib said before getting off the couch and giving him a respectful bow.

"While we were still in the factory," Splinter explained to everyone, "I had been looking for my walking stick." And he tapped his stick against the ground. "But also, I had been looking for this."

And he reached into his robe and pulled out a familiar box. He placed it atop the coffee table and opened it.

Dib's eyes widened as he took out a familiar, shining object.

"The Sword of Oni..." He muttered.

"Indeed..." Splinter said quietly. "The Swollen Eyeball had found it when they had captured us. But they were unaware of it's true value."

"Oh, dude!" Frida exclaimed. "Wish for pizza to rain from the sky!"

"We will discuss food later, young Frida," Splinter chuckled. "Now is the time to put it to good use..."

Dib nearly lost his breath when the wise rat placed it in his hands.

"Go ahead, young Dib," Splinter encouraged. "Use it."

Dib gazed at his image reflected on the blade. He looked up at the wise rat nervously.

"But how do I...?" He asked uneasily.

Splinter gave him an assuring smile. "You will know."

Suddenly, the sword glowed in his hands. It didn't hurt Dib's skin. It felt actually...normal.

"Make a wish, sweetheart," Mrs. Pesky encouraged.

Dib gazed at the sword. Then he looked to everyone...from Zim...to Rocky...to the entire family.

His family.

Dib smiled at all of them.

Then he made his wish.

The Skool bell rang.

Dib, Keef, Gaz, and Zim walked down the hall. While the three boys were nervous, Gaz was in her usual 'I-don't-care' mood.

Had the wish really worked?

There had been nothing on the news regarding any missing aliens or mutants...and Stickyfeet had been restored and its citizens seemed unaware of the chaos that had previously ensued...

"Later," Gaz muttered as she walked to her class.

Finally, the three boys stopped in front of their classroom. Zim gulped, being the most nervous of them all.

Keef, being the bit bravest of the three, slipped his hand into each of theirs. Giving them both an assuring smile, all three took a deep breath and went in.

Their classmates were all seated at their desk while Ms. Bitters repeatedly wrote DOOM on the board.

No one seemed to shout out when they saw Zim...and no one seemed to rush over to Dib, begging for his autograph.

Ms. Bitters hissed as soon as she saw them. "SIT!"

And the three boys immediately ran to their desks. Dib nervously regarded Zim from across the room, then he looked over at his classmates.

"Does anyone..." He began nervously. "Does anyone else besides me think Zim is an alien?"

All his classmates looked over to Zim, whom stiffened. But the alien in disguise remained calm and smiled nervously.

"Boy, I sure like to play in the mud!" He said rather loudly. "And eat it, too!" Zim shut his eyes.

"He likes mud, Dib!" One of his classmates said angrily to him. "Aliens don't like mud!"

And the others murmured in agreement. Dib leaned back at his desk with a sigh of relief.

The wish really worked.

Suddenly, a horn blared from outside. All the children rushed toward the window to see what was going on. Ms. Bitters's phone rang.

"What is it?" She demanded as she picked it up. She listened closely...then she scowled. "You cannot be serious..." And she listened some more. "You will regret this!" And slammed the phone down before turning to her class. "Go outside, all of you. Apparently, the school has planned a 'surprise' for all of you..." She hissed.

The kids cheered and raced out of the room. Dib's eyes widened in fear, before looking over to Zim and Keef, who were just as nervous. The three caught up with Gaz as the entire school made it out to the front yard.

There, parked in front of them, was a van. The door opened.

And Dib screamed.

"Hello, everyone!" Greeted an elderly man in a suit. "I'm Mr. Brightbotoom, head of the Rainbow Doodies Corporation! And I brought Doodies for everyone!" And he motioned for his van to shoot out toys unto the grass.

The kids cheered as they raced over to claim their toys, paid especially by the school, imbibing in Mr. Brightbottom's presence...

But Mr. Brightbottom was...Dib gulped as he gazed at the figure laughing with the children.

That was Agent Darkbooty...the man that Dib had worked for some time...the man that nearly killed Zim.

And he was...happy?

Dib looked him over. He was actually smiling, and he he was enjoying being around the children.

When Mr. Brightbottom spotted them, he stiffened, praying that he had no recognition of them. Of Zim.

"Here you go!" He said cheerfully before handing them each a toy and walking along.

"Uh, Dib?" Zim began as he looked at his toy. "What exactly did you wish for besides having everything that happened not happen?"

Dib rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, I kind of wished that the Swollen Eyeball never existed..."

"I see..." Zim said as he observed the man formerly known as Darkbooty.

"Apple Bloom and the other baby ponies would love these!" Keef exclaimed happily as he hugged his Doodies.

"But was is that horrifying stench?" Zim exclaimed as he held his toy out away from his face.

"I think I might have a clue..." Gaz muttered as she watched a dog nearby sniff a fire hydrant.

Rocky smiled to herself as she rounded a corner, looking through her phone's messages.

It was recess and Rocky was spending her time looking at recent text messages sent by all her friends. She received one message from Maggie Pesky, saying that Stickyfeet is fine and no one remembers anything; the town itself had never been invaded, thanks to Dib's wish. Then she received a message from Adam, saying that his classmates and teachers' minds were completely blank to the Zim exposure. Jake still thinks Zim is ugly, though...

Next, she received a text from Abjay, who was at her cousin's wrestling school. No one remembers anything. Abjay added that she just can't stand wrestling and that she wishes Buena Girl would just soak her head.

Rocky rolled her eyes before looking through other messages.

"Talking to another boyfriend, Pottingsworth?"

Rocky groaned. "Oh...Fanny..." She could remember that punch she had given her...long before Dib had erased everything and that punch had never happened.

She wished she could just punch her right now.

"I bet it's that ugly green kid!" Fanny snickered as she opened her locker. "If any girl would fall for him, it's you, Ms. Not-Judgmental!"

Rocky fumed but she remained calm. "The only ugly kid around here is you, Fanny."

Fanny stiffened at the insult. She just scoffed before she dug into her locker.

Rocky stood there for a few moments, watching her focus on her locker...then she smirked.

Fanny was about to reach for a book-

-then she was shoved into her locker.

Rocky slammed the door in her face and skipped off, whistling a merry tune, ignoring the shrill cries of fury blasting from it's vent.

Rocky knew that was indeed a cruel act, but she was sure the custodian would come around some time before the next bell rang...

Gir laid on Zim's lap as the Irken in disguise laid his head peacefully against the car seat cushion as Brian drove. He and Rita had picked up Zim from school and were taking him to his house.

Actually, it was more like their house now.

Since that heart-to-heart moment, Zim confessed now that Brian and Rita were the parents he's always wanted. Nothing like the cold, unfeeling robot arm that had raised him as a smeet back on Irk...Nothing like his robot parents, whom he was forced to turn into scrap metal on account of a malfunction that nearly killed both him and Gir...

He could call them either by their real names or simply mom and dad, just like how the turtles referred to Master Splinter as either master or father.

Brian parked beside the house and the family walked toward the door.

"Uh, sweetie..." Rita began. "Are those gnomes watching our every move?"

"Yeah, isn't it great?" Zim smiled before opening the door and they all entered.

"I'M RUNNING! I'M RUNNING!" Gir exclaimed before running around the living room.

"Oh, yeah..." Zim remembered before turning to both Brian and Rita. "There's something I forgot to mention..."

"What is it, sweetie?" Rita asked.

"Well, see...there's this parent teacher thing tonight and..." Zim gulped.

"Aw, Zim..." Brian cooed. "We love you remember, of course, we'll go."

"Yeah, that's great and all..." Zim's voice trailed off. "But see...well...you remember how I mentioned about how my 'other parents' came to the last parent teacher night...and well...things went...not good..."

"Oh, yeah..." Brian recalled, remembering Zim placing every detail, from the severe pokey trauma thing involving one of the students' mothers as well as RobotDad losing an arm...

"And I'm not sure whether the parents will recognize from last time or realize that you two are different people..." Zim said quietly. "And I'm not going to use the 'my-parents-died-I-quickly-got-adopted' excuse..."

"Oh, sweetie," Rita cooed. "You don't have to explain anything. We love you, and that's all that matters. If they wonder why we look so 'different', well, leave the explaining to us." And she bent down and kissed his forehead.

Zim smiled at her...her motherly smile making him melt.

"I better call Pinkie Pie for cupcakes to bring tonight," Brian said before he walked into the kitchen.

The doorbell rang. Rita walked over and placed her hand on the see-through device, which Zim had taught her recently.

"Sweetie, it's Rocky," she said before opening the door.

Zim's smile widened as he saw Rocky's face. "Brown-eyed female!"

"I thought you quit calling me that," Rocky chuckled before entering the house. "Just dropped by to see how you were doing."

"Well, as you can see..." Zim said proudly as he expanded his arms. "Zim is doing well, human Rocky! Ever since I've cancelled my mission, much like Skoodge, I am embracing the human life." His smiled widened. "I GOT A STOMACH THAT'LL EAT MEAT!"

Rocky laughed before her brown eyes sparkled, smiling at her alien friend. "I'm really glad to hear that, Zim..." She said softly. "Really glad..."

Zim's ruby eyes blinked as he stared at her back. "Well, I still think this planet is still a bit miserable with pathetic humans..." He smiled at her. "I'm glad to be with the ones who aren't..."

Rocky resumed her smile. "Well, thanks...Zim..."

Zim just smiled at her. "Glad to have said it..."

Rita turned from Zim to Rocky, smiling. "I"m going to help Brian prepare for tonight..." And she tiptoed away, leaving Rocky and Zim to their own devices.

"Parent teacher night?" Rocky asked him.

"Yeah, and I already told you about my 'other parents'..." Zim sighed. "And I was beginning to love Robomom..."

"Aw, Zim..." Rocky chuckled. "She'll always be in your heart...or your squeedlyspooch. But now, you have Rita as well as Brian in your life, and you got to admit...that's better."

Zim chuckled. "Yes, it sure is..." He smiled at Rocky.

She smiled at him back.

Suddenly, her phone beeped. Rocky checked the message.

"Fanboy got his head caught in a pipe," she sighed. "Again."

"How does a stupid human boy like him able to do such a thing like that?" Zim asked doubtly.

"He's Fanboy," Rocky said simply as she headed out the door. "See ya."

"Bye...Rocky..." Zim said quietly as he waved at her until she was out across the yard.

He didn't realize that Gir was standing beside him, eating a sandwich.

"You like her," he sang.

Zim's eyes widened. "YOU'RE LYING!"
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Parent teacher night finally began as students, teachers, and parents filled the lunchroom, talking and eating snacks brought by the parents themselves.

"Hi, guys!" Keef greeted Dib and Gaz as he walked beside his dad, who was Gaz's teacher, Mr. Eliot.

"Hi, kids," his dad greeted cheerfully. "Hey, where's your dad? Last time I saw him, he was on some floating device."

Dib sighed sadly. "Well, he's out of town..." He began. "...and he kind of forgot..."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that," Mr. Eliot said sympathetically. "I'm sure he'll come back sooner than expected."

"Whatever..." Gaz muttered.

All eyes quickly turned toward the doorway when Zim, Brian, and Rita entered.

"Zim's parents!" Mr. Eliot exclaimed, nearly dropping his punch. "Oh, I still remember when his dad's arm flew off!" He squinted as he looked more closely at Brian and Rita. "Strange...they seem...different...from the last time I've seen them..."

Dib and Keef exchanged a smile.

"Well, I guess you can say they've..." Dib chuckled. "Improved."

Rita placed the cupcakes she got from Pinkie Pie on the table with the others foods. When she turned, she was met with a plump, terrified woman, whom flinched at her presence.

"Don't hurt me!" She exclaimed, standing closer to her husband.

Rita raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Excuse me?"

"Um, the last time we met..." Her husband began nervously. "You began poking my wife repeatedly, bringing her into severe pokey trauma..." He gulped. "Remember?"

Rita looked down at Zim, who stiffened.

"Oh...right!" Rita played along. "Forgive me for that! Being a fifty-year-old woman, I had what you'd call a 'Senoir moment'..." And she chuckled nervously, praying they would get the bait.

The couple pondered for a moment. Then the woman nodded her head, her fear dying down.

"That makes sense!" She exclaimed. "Oh, honey, I forgive you then!" She looked Rita up and down. "You know...you seem very different from the last time we met...You look...younger."

Rita blushed. "Oh, you know...with beauty products and all..."

"Hi, Zim's dad," Mr. Eliot greeted as he approached Brian. "Good to see you again."

Brian smiled. "Uh, good to see you again, too...Mr. Eliot."

"And how's your arm?" He asked.

"My arm?" Brian looked over to Zim, who grew tense.

"Yes, your squeezing arm," the teacher reminded him. "The one you lost in the war?"

"The war?" Brian said in confusion. Then his eyes widened in realization. "Oh, no..." He chuckled nervously. "Sorry, my son was trying to make me sound cool..."

Zim blew a sigh.

"Actually, my arm was lost in a shark incident," he lied casually. "I was saving a fat man." And he flexed his arm. "My arm is much better, thanks."

"Impressive!" Mr. Eliot exclaimed.

Zim broke away from his parents and came over to Gaz, Keef, and Dib. "Well, that worked out well..."

"At least the people who love you came tonight..." Dib sighed sadly.

"I wouldn't be too sure, Dib..." Keef said knowingly before pointing.

Dib looked over and his eyes widened.

Standing at the doorway were two familiar figures.

"Mrs. Pesky?" Dib exclaimed. "Master Splinter?"

Mrs. Pesky spotted him and his sister and motioned for Splinter to follow her as they walked across the room. They were both well-disguised; Mrs. Pesky wore her headband way over her antennas and her wings wear heavily covered by a stylish trench coat. Two or her arms were hidden in her clothes, and only her two other arms were visible. Splinter tucked his tail into a pair of pants he wore, and he wore an old hat over his head, to cover most of his rat-like face in the shadows.

No one paid any mind to them as they came over to the kids, smiling mostly at Dib.

"What did we miss?" Mrs. Pesky asked.

"You..." Dib stuttered. "You came here...for me?"

Mrs. Pesky chuckled. "Well, you and your sister shouldn't be the only kids without their parent here."

Gaz just scoffed.

Splinter smiled down at Dib. "We would like to pose as the guardians for this special evening."

Dib nearly teared up while Gaz just averted her eyes.

"Also..." Mrs. Pesky chirped. "I made cake!" And she took it out.

That got Gaz's attention as she followed Mrs. Pesky over to the refreshments stand, her mouth drooling.

Dib looked up at Splinter. "Thank you..." He said softly, giving him a respected bow.

Splinter smiled down at him. "Thank you, young Dib..." And he returned the bow.

Velma gazed around TUFF, her glasses nearly falling off her face.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Dudley chuckled as he showed her around. "The best place is the snackroom!"

Velma chuckled before turning to Dudley. "Why did you bring me here, again?"

"In case you still don't believe me that I'm a secret agent," he said quietly.

"Well, I believe you now."

"Well, that's not all..." Dudley said quietly. "I talked with the Chief...and since you're quite the mystery solver as well as a very compatible person..."

"Are you switching partners?" Demanded a voice.

Both turned to see Kitty approach them, fuming.

"You only know her for one day and suddenly you want to change being partnered with me for this..." She pointed accusingly at Velma.

"Kitty, hold the phone!" Dudley said. "What makes you think I want to switch partners?" He motioned to Velma. "I asked Chief to make her my...I mean, our 'partner's partner/mystery solving agent and assistant'!"

"What?" Kitty asked in confusion.

"She's going to help us whenever she can," Dudley said simply. He turned to Velma. "That is...if you want to."

Velma's eyes brightened behind her glasses. "Of course!" She exclaimed. "Pass an opportunity like this? The thrill of it all? Not a chance!" And she hugged Dudley. "Jinkies, Dudley! This is so much better than solving mysteries with my gang."

Dudley blushed at she hugged him tighter. "Great to hear..."

"Yeah..." Kitty said quietly. "Welcome to the family..."

"Lisa!" Marge called as she entered the living room. "Your friend Skoodge is here."

And immediately, Lisa screeched into the living room. "Hi, Skoodge!" She greeted happily. She had a red bow in her hair.

"Hey, Lisa," Skoodge greeted, his blue human eyes blinking. "Ready for some studying?"

"You bet!" She said excitedly before taking out numerous books. "I got Siddhartha, Hamlet, and even A Clockwork Orange!"

Skoodge blinked. "I thought those were for above grades..."

"You do what you can to be a high achiever..." She said simply.

"I'll go make you two some snacks," Marge said before disappearing into the kitchen. "Maybe some meat pies..."

As soon as she was gone, Lisa turned to Skoodge. "Frink made amends to your body like Zim, right?"

"He sure did," Skoodge smiled. "I can see why you humans adore meat so much..." He chukled. "That was your mom, right?" He asked as they sat on the couch.

"Yes, that's her..." Lisa grumbled. "The woman who thought it would be a great idea for Zim to be..." Her voice trailed off in angry mutters.

Skoodge gulped. "I'm sure she wasn't being heartless..."

"No, just being stupid and judgmental..." She said, knowing her mother was out of earshot.

Skoodge sympathized with her. "Hey, at least her mind's been erased and Zim's okay..." He assured her. He took out his script. "Want to hear me recite Hamlet?"

Lisa smiled as she gazed at him. "That would be great."

"Dear Princess Celestia..." Twilight said to herself. "I know that you are already aware of the successful rescue as well as Dib's part in usage of magic..."

Her horn glowed as she used her magic, a pen and some paper floating above her head, writing her every word. She was seated at a nearby cafe table with Spike, who was eating hay-flavored fries.

It was a beautiful Saturday today and Rocky and Zim had come to Ponyville, having a good time with the other ponies. Twilight smiled as she watched Applejack show Zim the differences in the apples she had just picked.

Rodolfo and Voltura had arrived as well, contributing their time to aiding the elderly ponies such as Granny Smith. Rarity had also called Voltura over so she could use her as her human mannequin, using her to decide on different dresses she was making.

Twilight smiled as she saw the look on Rodolfo's face while Rarity dragged Voltura through the streets, wearing the newest dress she had just designed.

"He likes her..." Spike said through a mouthful of fries. "He just won't admit it..." He gulped. "Plus, Maria seems to try to get between them whenever she can..."

"Not this time, Spike," Twilight chuckled as she resumed her letter.

She tried to hold her giggles when Rodolfo, eyes completely glued to Voltura, accidentally walked right into a lightpole.

"...I realized I had forgotten to speak of what I had just learned..." She stated to her letter as the words were magically written. "That when we're all together..." She said softly. "As friends...as family...we can handle anything..."

She recalled her part in the rescue. Indeed, she was frightened, not at death, but of what could have happened to her friends. She shuddered as she remembered Zim almost dying...

Then she remembered how everything came into place. The family was reunited, Dib made a huge wish, and Rocky was back to her sweet, charming self, no longer the psychotic girl that nearly killed Dib.

"...all in all..." She concluded. "...you already know of our success, and I thank you for your mental thoughts of encouragement and hope. Your loyal student, Twilight Sparkle."

And she used her magic to wrap up the letter and lowered it down to Spike. He swallowed his fries before he blew out a small puff of fire, turning the letters into ashes and the wind carrying the message across Equestria.

BAM!

Both turned immediately to see Zim clutching his head. Before him was a crate full of water and apples. Apparently, Applejack was teaching him how to bob for apples.

"This game!" He shouted. "It's more complicated than the human game known as Uno!"

Apple Bloom couldn't hold her laughter as her sister watched Zim rant.

"Sugarbean," Applejack told him soothingly. "It's okay. Just try again.

"He'll learn..." Spike observed. "...the next twenty times maybe..."

Kick watched as Zim ate what was his tenth burrito.

He, along with Gunther, Rocky, Zim, and Fanboy and Chum Chum, had arrived at the Frosty Mart just to chat with Lenny and Lunessa, and maybe Boog, as well as have some snacks.

Zim, since Frink had 'fixed' his Irken stomach, was eating every kind of meat product the store was selling.

"And I thought my brother ate like a pig," Kick observed. He turned to Rocky. "Thankfully, you're charging for him." He remembered her credit card.

Zim swallowed hard before grabbing a sub-sandwich from a nearby fridge. "This Earthly substance..." He said, his mouth drooling. "It's delicious!" And he shoved the sandwich into his mouth.

"How far does an alien like him consume?" Lenny asked as he turned to Rocky.

"Don't know," she shrugged. "His squeedilyspooch is functioning at a fast rate, I presume. So guess Irkens just eat all they want, no limit, I guess..."

"A squeedilyspooch?" Kick asked.

"Irken organ," she informed.

"Oh, I think I have a squeedilyspooch!" Fanboy exclaimed.

"Me, too!" Chum Chum added.

"Prove it," Kick challenged.

"Observe!" Fanboy exclaimed before he and Chum Chum raced over to the Frosty Freeze machine. "Chum Chum and I will consume more Frosty Freeze than Zim eats meat!"

"Oh, no..." Lenny groaned. "I better get the mop ready..."

"Here you go," Lunessa handed it to him.

"And go!" Gunther urged.

They pressed the buttons, mouths below as the cool liquid entered.

Five minutes went by...

Zim was still eating while Lenny was busy mopping the floors. Lunessa and Rocky were aiding an overly-sick Fanboy and Chum Chum as they laid on the floor, Kick and Gunther smirking down at them.

"Too...much...freeze..." Fanboy gurgled.

"If you like it, then you should'a put a ring on it..." Abjay sang, listening to her i-phone.

She, Zero Kelvin, Pierre del Fuego, and Zim and Rocky, along with Gir, were at Slammin' Donuts, The Flea's parents' restaurant.

"Quite a lot of sugar, these donuts have..." Zim observed as he picked up a frosted donut. "Even more than the ones the Tallest eat..."

Rocky nearly choked on her drink when Zim mentioned the Tallest. Only Zero Kelvin and Pierre del Fuego noticed her reaction while Abjay was too busy listening to her music.

"Say, uh, Zim..." She cut in sharply. "Can you grab me some more cream-filled donuts?" She asked before shoving money into his hands. "I bet Gir still wants more." She turned to the robot in disguise seated between them. "Right, Gir?"

"I tasted one with peanuts and soap in them!" Gir said with a smile.

"Fine, I'll get some," Zim said before he leaped out of his seat.

As soon as he left, Rocky blew a deep sigh.

"What was that?" Zero Kelvin asked.

"What was what?" Rocky asked innocently.

"You know..." Pierre said as he watched his cousin remove her earphones to listen. "That thing..."

"What thing?" She asked.

"Oh, dios mijo..." Zero Kelvin muttered before looking at her once again. "Why did you freak out when Zim mentioned about his leaders?"

Rocky gazed at all the expectant glances aimed at her. Finally, she sighed.

"It's been almost two weeks, since...you know..." Rocky began.

They all nodded.

"As Zim has told you guys, he calls his leaders often," she went on, "and he hasn't really called them in a while. I mean, they have no idea that he cancelled his mission..." She averted her eyes. "And if he calls them, they might...well, I don't know...call him back to his planet or whatever. And we might not see him again..."

"You mean you might not see him again," Abjay smirked.

Rocky's face flushed. "Abjay, shut up! I may go for lots of guys, but Zim...Zim's just...well, he's just a friend, okay?"

"Whatever..." Abjay rolled her eyes.

"What do you think his leaders are like?" Zero Kelvin asked. "Almighty...?"

"Almighty Tallest," Rocky said. "They're tall, of course..." She pondered and smiled. "I bet they're incredible leaders, and must really admire Zim. I mean, why else would they have sent him here? And to think..." She drifted off into space. "...they could be two amazing aliens as well. Why, I bet, if Zim had mentioned me to them, they would immediately think I'm in the rank of awesome..."

On the Massive, Almighty Tallest Red and Purple clinked their glasses of liquid and cheered to themselves as they lounged around their private quarters.

It had been a while since Zim had called them, and they believed that their wish had finally come true.

"You think he really died?" Red asked, almost skeptical.

"Wipe the worry off your face," Purple chuckled. "Zim hasn't called us in forever, so..."

"And to think..." Red said before sipping his drink. "He might have blown up all thanks to some human girl named Rodentille..."

"You sure her name isn't Roadkill?" Purple asked before eating some chips.

"Does it matter?" Red scoffed. "Her supposed ugliness must have been so horrifying, that Zim might have blown himself up!"

"Oh, that I can believe!" Purple laughed. "I mean, after seeing those two girls Zim had captured along with that chubby kid, I can't imagine how even more hideous this brown-eyed female is!"

"Maybe..." Red gulped. "She might be as hideous as a Meekrob?"

Purple nearly choked. "Stop it! You're going to make me lose my lunch!"
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
"Absolutely not!" Zim shouted as he folded his arms.

Rocky sighed. "What's wrong with dancing?"

They were at a cafe in Miseryville, along with Jimmy, Florentine, Heloise and Beezy. They were having lunch when the stereo blared out a tune, and some of the customers began to dance. Soon, Jimmy and Florentine joined in, as well as Heloise and Beezy, whom was grimacing as he danced with the jealous, evil girl.

That left Zim and Rocky standing around.

"No!" Zim said with a huff. "This human action if far from Zim's expectations!"

Rocky groaned. "Hey, you promised yourself that if you ever got out of the Swollen Eyeball alive, you'd let me teach you to dance until your legs broke off!"

Zim looked at her in confusion. "How could you know what I had said if you weren't there?"

Rocky just gazed at him with a blank stare. "I really don't know..."

Before Zim knew it, she had grabbed his hand and dragged him with the others. Zim groaned as Rocky grabbed his other hand and made him stand straight.

"Now, just place your hand on my waist..." She instructed.

Zim mumbled to himself as he did so, not meeting her gaze.

"Then move your feet like mine..." She went on.

Zim didn't move at first when Rocky shifted around. Finally, he gave in and turned to finally meet her brown-eyed gaze.

Suddenly, he felt weak as he tried to get his legs to move a little faster with hers.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yes, yes..." Zim said quickly. "Let's just get on with the lesson!"

For a while, Zim was failing miserably with the steps. But after some time, as well as some motivation from Jimmy, his feet seemed to be working better.

"Hey, I'm doing it!" He exclaimed as he and Rocky danced to the beat of the music. "VICTORY FOR ZIM!"

And before either knew it, he twirled her around.

She laughed...then stumbled forward.

Zim caught her arm at the brink of time and pulled her up to her feet.

"Looks like you need the lesson," he said mockingly.

"Challenging me?" She said playfully.

"Bring it on..." He said quietly, as if he were back in his planet's academy, doing a simulation.

And all the others cheered as they did a dance-off. Zim had no idea why he even continued dancing, when he realized that the movements the human girl projected seemed almost similar to Irken combat strategy moves...it seemed almost humiliating that he was doing this in front of people.

But he felt it was a good kind of humiliation.

"Hey, Zim?" Rocky shouted above the noise while she danced. "You really love it here, right?"

"Of course," he responded, keeping his footing. "This is my home now!"

"So, uh..." She began. "What are you going to tell your leaders?" She bit her tongue as soon as she said that.

Zim screeched to a sudden halt, his eyes widening in realization.

What was he going to tell the Almighty Tallest?
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
"Okay, quiet everyone..." Zim said as he sat in front of his computer.

"But we're so excited!" Fanboy exclaimed as he and Chum Chum tried to stifle their giggles. "We're going to meet your leaders!"

Rita and Brian watched from the doorway of the lab as Zim and some of the kids gathered around his computer. They had it all planned out: Zim would call his leaders, explain everything, and he was going to introduce them to few of his friends and family, then try to make amends regarding his decision to cancel his mission.

Rocky was up in the house in the bathroom right now, but they were sure she would show up as soon as Zim contacted his leaders.

"They really are tall?" Adam asked Zim.

"Very tall!" Zim exclaimed happily. "They aren't called the Almighty Tallest for nothing!"

"Wait, didn't you mention that status on your planet is based on height?" Kick asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"Well..." He compared himself to Zim. Although Zim was taller than him, the alien was indeed short.

"Oh, please!" Zim scoffed. "I am much too worthy to be rejected for my height!"

The screen loaded for a few moments.

And finally, the kids saw the interior of the private quarter of the Tallest. Zim squinted before he could make out a tall figure sleeping on the couch while another dozed at one of the tables.

"It's them!" Gir exclaimed happily.

Zim nodded happily before taking a deep breath.

"MY TALLLLLLLEST!" Zim bellowed.

"Wah!" Purple exclaimed before falling off the couch.

Red snorted before he quickly shook his head, having been quickly woken up. He glared up at the screen.

His red eyes widened in disbelief. "Zim?" He gasped. "You're alive?"

"Alive?" Purple cried as he got to his feet and came closer to the screen. "Zim?"

"Hello!" Gir waved.

"Yes, My Tallest," Zim said proudly. "I apologize for not calling in for some time...there were some matters to be dealt with..." He exchanged a glance with Dib before turning back to the screen. "Anyway, I must confess something..."

"That you're not really-" Purple began but Red cut him off by throwing a magazine at his face.

"My mission..." Zim said. "I must reassign."

Purple's jaw dropped. "Reassign?"

"Yes..." Zim said quietly. "Earth may be a miserable place...but it's like a second home." And he leaned back so his friends would be seen onscreen. "And its inhabitants are my family..."

"Hi!" Fanboy and Chum Chum exclaimed, gazing at the Tallest with wide curiosity. "We come in peace!"

The Tallest gazed at the Earth children, not sure whether to be shocked or disgusted. Two of the boys were in ridiculous costumes...one of the kids was a shark with braces...and some of them were even shorter than Zim!

Purple noticed Abjay, Florentine, and Gunther among them but he said nothing. He looked over at Veronica and nearly gagged.

"Oh, are you Roadkill?" He asked her. "Human female with sickening yellow hair and terrifying blue eyes?"

Veronica flinched when he spoke to her, ever so rudely. "Roadkill?"

"Zim said brown-eyes," Red reminded Purple.

"Oh, you mean Rocky!" Zim exclaimed excitedly. He turned to see Rocky pass Rita and Brian. "She's coming!"

"This will be a riot..." Purple snorted as he looked over at Red. "Some human named after rocks...Can't be surprised if she's short, ugly, and she likes to collect rocks..."

And the Tallest both exchanged a quiet laugh before turning to the screen, anticipating the 'short, ugly girl' known as Rocky.

Finally, she came into view...

The Tallest just stood there...stunned.

Rocky said nothing, just smiled at Zim's leaders, being polite. Her brown eyes sparkled, and she had brushed her gorgeous raven hair furiously back in the bathroom to please them.

Her smile was, for a human, quite charming.

"Greetings," she said finally, before giving a respectful bow.

"You're...you're not..." Red stuttered in disbelief. "You're not short..."

"Or ugly..." Purple added, his purple eyes seeing Rocky's brown ones for the very first time.

Rocky raised an eyebrow. "Huh?"

"She's the girl who attacked me before!" Zim said happily. "But we worked some things out, and look where I am now!" And he motioned to the kids around him.

"Well, uh..." Red began. "I guess...uh..."

"Red, say anything!" Purple said impatiently. "Just leave out the parts where you're going to say that Zim isn't an invader at all!"

Zim raised an eyeridge at Purple's statement. What did he mean Zim wasn't an invader?

But Purple ranted on, not realizing he was being watched.

"I mean, don't even mention that his mission was a fraud and we only sent him to Earth just so he won't screw up Impending Doom II..." Purple went on. "I mean, mention that Impending Doom II is going great, and it really is, but don't mention that Zim's not a part of it!"

"Uh, Purple..." Red said nervously, turning from him to the screen.

Zim looked pale.

"And don't, I mean, don't, even mention that Zim's a defect!" Purple exclaimed.

Zim nearly lost his breath as soon as that last word escaped Purple's mouth.

"A...a...a defect?" Zim gulped.

Rocky clasped a hand over her mouth, trying to cover her gasp as she gazed from the Tallest to her friend. He looked devastated...

"So, okay, Red," Purple concluded before sipping his drink. "Now go lie to Zim!" He turned back to the screen. "Hey, what's wrong with Zim?"

All his friends gazed at Zim worriedly as the Irken sat there...his ruby eyes widening and his green skin becoming pale.

"Zim?" Rocky said quietly, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Brian and Rita, whom had seen and heard everything, just stood there, eyes wide and mouths dropped.

"What happened?" Purple asked in confusion before turning to Red.

Red sighed. It was no use hiding it anymore...

"Time to finally end this..." He muttered. He glared at the screen. "Yes, Zim..." He said coldly. "Your mission is a fraud...you're not really an invader..."

Rocky immediately turned from the screen back to Zim, who just sat there and listened...feeling more dead than alive.

"We were hoping that you'd die on the planet known as Earth," Red said.

"Or die in the ugliness of what we assumed that brown-eyed Earth girl had," Purple added.

"But now we can see that you'll die eventually..." Red concluded. "With those Earth inhabitants..."

Rocky's fists tightened, and she could feel the rush of anger from the other kids. Zim had almost died...but it was they, the Earth inhabitants, that had saved him. But from the look of his leaders, they didn't seemed to be of any interest if Rocky spoke up for her friend.

"Goodbye, Zim," Red said finally, and cut the transmission.

They all just sat there...gazing at the blank screen. Rita and Brian immediately rushed over to Zim and hugged him close.

"Master?" Gir asked quietly.

Zim, his face looking into space, did not react to being hugged by his human parents or being sympathized by the other kids, especially Rocky.

"Sweetie?" Rita spoke softly, her fingers comforting his antennas.

"Sir..." The computer spoke. "I'm so sorry..." For a machine with so much sass, even the computer had feelings, and he felt remorseful for the alien.

Finally, Zim fell from his seat, his knees hitting the floor.

Then he placed his face in his hands and sobbed quietly to himself.

This had to be the first time he had ever cried.

Dib watched as his friend broke down in front of them.

All for nothing? Dib could remember the last time he had met Zim's leaders...they paid no mind to him but his large head. And that hurt him just a bit...

But this...his friend being called a defect...it hurt even more...

Rita and Brian and Gir wrapped their arms around the crying Irken, while everyone else stood around, giving off thoughts of sympathy.

Rocky cried, too.

Rocky is right about Bart going to hell
