I know time and time again I've said Russell Ferguson is my favorite male animal character, yet I'm sure a number of people have seen the array of fanart that features mostly Vinnie. Him dressed as a Marshal Lee might have been the picture to make people question who exactly is my favorite pet [link]. He's just the most interesting to put in any given situation, and obviously the best pet to experiment with MLP FIM mane styles. [link] And I haven't drawn Blythe since my very first official LPS picture! [link]

Well, I've already stated that 'So You Skink You Can Dance' is by far my absolute favorite episode of Season 1, with 'What's in the Batter' recently having become my close second(Sunil TOTALLY owned that episode ). Seeing Vinnie in such a poignant light, as well as displaying emotional characteristics followed by his complete act of loyalty to Blythe when she needed him the most [link], it should be no surprise most fans consider him BEST PET...when it's usually Sunil. After watching that episode, I kept wondering that maybe I could make a fanfiction story that would be a sequel to the episode; that is still under construction for now since I'm currently working on my alternate story for 'Lights! Camera! Mongoose!'. [link]

I still remember Blythe mentioning at the end of said episode about how she couldn't have conquered her camera shyness, as well as her inability to dance, if it weren't for Vinnie.

Like she said, he's not just some pet lizard. He's her friend. And dance coach.
