Because Rango Rocked

A while back, my parents and I had watched the movie Rango, and I LOVED it!

A couple of days after the movie, I drew this...and because I had been so absorbed with my other artwork and my start for my Invader Zim crossover, I had forgotten about this drawing until now.

So, to honor the start of my Spring Break, I have colored this.

Here's the story:

Bea from Fish Hooks is having another play at her school, and it's a spoof of Rango. Considering the cast is a bit short, she finds a few friends to play the roles of specific characters from the film. And look who she finds who will serve perfectly for the role...

Four of the main characters, and cartoon characters from awesome shows depict them pretty well:

Zim from Invader Zim as Rango
Both full of themselves with big egos and a mind full of ideas. Though, I can't say Zim would like the shirt...

My OC Rocky from Codename: Kids NExt Door as Beans
Pretty, strong, witty, and good with a weapon. I've experimented with Rocky's hair before, but I have to say, curls really suit her if she were in some sort of Western situation.

Plus, for all those who consider Rocky and Zim a perfect match of opposites attract...well, you know why else I chose her to be Beans.

Boog from Fanboy and Chum Chum as Rattlesnake Jake
Like you wouldn't think so, too! Both evil antagonist. If Boog can shoot as good as he can bop. And, well, if you recall my KND crossover with FBCC story, you'd remember how much Rocky despises Boog the first time she meets him [link]

Well, since Rattlesnake Jake uses his tail as his gun, I thought it would be pretty cool if Boog's hand, which he uses for bopping, would serve as some sort of mechanical gun.

He's evil without even trying, ladies.

And Apple Bloom from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as Priscilla
Both are cute with adorable eyes, I couldn't think of anyone cuter than Apple Bloom. Like how Priscilla looks up to Rango, Apple Bloom looks up to Zim as both a friend and a little sister. I can't say that Apple Bloom would even think of sharing the same interests of death as Priscilla...

So, yeah, Rango rocked. And, well, I bet Bea's play would be awesome with these guys, huh?
