A Bunch of Carrot Tops

suggested I draw a picture featuring Cartoon Network's two most beloved characters, Blossom and Dexter. It's been like forever since I drew these, and it feels pretty good to bring them back.

I needed an idea for a good MLP FIM crossover picture, and when I remembered how Blossom and Dexter are both redheads, I immediately thought of a special pony that could fit right with their description. Everyone, that mare on the left is Carrot Top, or, as Hasbro officially named her, Golden Harvest.

And I added my Chowder OC Florentine just for the heck of humor and that being different is a special thing. Plus, I just really wanted to draw her after she was featured in my first ever Derpy picture [link]

Taking a break from the lab, Dexter joins Blossom as they visit Carrot Top in Ponyville. With not much else to do for the day, they decide to just hold a random contest for whose red hair is the most interesting, hoping to cause some excitement for the day.

So the three redheads line up behind a wall (slight Charlie Brown reference ) and ask passerby ponies to vote on whose red hair intrigues them more, then when the time is up, they'll count up the votes and announce the winner...and maybe ask Pinkie Pie to throw a party in celebration of it just to make the slightly boring day more fun.

However, one unexpected candidate has thrown her hat into the ring, and it seems ponies are starting to give their votes to her instead of the real competitors.

This is really starting to piss off Dexter, seeing as he is being driven to second place, and he angrily tells Florentine of her obvious hair color.

But Florentine loves to stand out. She is a girl who is true to her blue.
